This year, Allied Dental was proud to once again support Go Red For Women by participating in the 13th annual National Wear Red Day event!
Since 2003, the first Friday in February has been declared “National Wear Red Day,” a massive public awareness event to bring attention to the cause of death for 1 in every 3 women – cardiovascular disease. On National Wear Red Day, men and women alike are urged to wear red in support of this event and to shed light on the staggering number of women who die from heart disease, as well as the fact that 80% of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes.
Thanks to the continuing efforts of the National Heart Association through these Go Red events, great strides have been made in women’s health since the first event in 2003. Research and education has resulted in:

In addition to wearing red, financial contributions are also collected on behalf of the American Heart Association, with proceeds going towards educational programs aimed at raising awareness, as well as critical research to discover more scientific knowledge about cardiovascular health.
We are proud to say that all our offices participated in 2016’s National Wear Red Day event! Thanks to every office’s generous charitable donations, Allied was able to raise over $1,000 for the AHA to go towards education and research!
